" _*About the Position:*_ Transportation Engineers can be tasked in several engineering functions in the Region.
Based on annual workload and seasonal needs, incumbent may be assigned by the Department to a variety of positions in an office or field environment.
Working in Construction the incumbent will be under the direct supervision of an Area Construction Engineer, a Senior Transportation Engineer.
The incumbent will perform various transportation-engineering tasks of average difficulty.
Travel is required.
California driver’s license is required when operating state owned or leased vehicles.
