The Aviation Fuel Line Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aviation fuel systems.

The Aviation Fuel Line Technician must adhere to strict safety standards and regulations to guarantee the integrity and reliability of fuel delivery systems.
*Location:* Weed Airport (O46) and Siskiyou Airport (KSIY)
*Responsibilities:*
* Install, maintain, and repair aviation fuel pipelines, hoses, valves, and related equipment.
* Conduct routine inspections of fueling systems to identify and address potential issues or safety hazards.
* Perform pressure testing and leak detection to ensure the integrity of fuel lines and storage tanks.
* Monitor fuel quality and contamination levels, taking corrective actions as necessary.
* Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to design and implement fuel system upgrades and modifications.
* Operate specialized equipment such as pressure testing rigs, flow meters, and filtration systems.
* Follow established procedures and protocols for fueling aircraft and ground vehicles in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Document maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs accurately and in accordance with company policies.
* Respond promptly to emergency situations, including fuel spills or equipment malfunctions, to minimize disruptions and ensure safety.
* Participate in training programs and stay informed about new technologies, regulations, and best practices in aviation fueling operations.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including fueling stations, equipment storage areas, and maintenance facilities.
* Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing job duties.
*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in aviation fueling systems preferred.
* Proven experience in fuel system maintenance, repair, or installation, preferably in an aviation or related industry.
* Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices for aviation fueling operations, including NFPA, ATA, and API guidelines.
* Familiarity with fuel quality control measures, contamination prevention techniques, and filtration systems.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to upholding safety and quality standards.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with team members, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to support operational requirements.
* Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as required by the job.
