They had a design flaw.
It works fine for lifting.
If lifting something heavy like a car it will let it down easily.
If lifting something NOT very heavy it will drop the load WHEN TRYING TO LET IT DOWN.
(it dropped my solar panel rack with panels.

Harbor Freight knows about this issue.
