Hello!
I'm reaching out with a heartfelt request.
Abby, a beautiful 3 year old Rottweiler belonging to my elderly neighbors, urgently needs a new home.
Sadly, her owners have moved to a long-term care facility due to severe health issues and can no longer care for her.
For the past few weeks, I've been looking after Abby, providing her with food and water.
She's a loving and loyal companion, ideal for a household without other pets as she prefers to be the only dog.
Unfortunately, I cannot adopt her due to her discomfort around other dogs, and local rescues have declined to take her due to her history.
The situation is critical.
If Abby does not find a new home by this Friday, I've been advised to consider the heartbreaking option of euthanasia.
We want to avoid this at all costs and find her a loving, forever home.
Abby would thrive as the sole pet in a loving environment.
If you, or anyone you know, are looking for a devoted companion, please consider Abby.
She's currently in Shingletown, about 40 miles east of Redding.
A meet and greet with her can be arranged to see if she's a good fit for your home.
Thank you!
