*Summary :*
* The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for providing safe patient care through the application of the nursing process, encompassing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
* They administer direct patient care within their professional scope, while also overseeing patient/family education and coordinating the activities of other nursing staff to uphold quality care standards within the Telemetry unit.
* Additionally, the Registered Nurse serves as the primary caregiver in the Emergency Department, communicating effectively with physicians regarding changes in patient condition, diagnostic findings, and symptomatology.
* They possess the ability to promptly and accurately respond to evolving patient needs and treatment outcomes, demonstrating proficiency in adhering to EMTALA regulations and reporting incidents of child or adult abuse to relevant agencies and Hospital Social Worker.
Upholding patient privacy and confidentiality is paramount.
*Qualifications*
* Holds a current and valid state *RN License.
*
* Possesses a current *BLS certificate.
*
* Holds a current *ACLS certificate.
*
* Holds a current *PALS certificate and/or ENPC.
*
* Demonstrates proficiency in Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation.
* Has a minimum of one year of experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting, with preference given to those with *E.
R.
experience.
*
* Preferably holds certification as a *Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN).
*
* Holds a *Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN),* if available.
