*Summary : *
* The Clinical Liaison maintains administrative responsibility for overseeing Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) on designated units under the guidance of the House Supervisor.
* Collaborates with LVNs, Clinical Supervisor, Unit Director/Manager, and House Supervisor to assist with tasks within their scope of practice.
* Helps develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with federal and/or state regulations.
* Assists in managing and overseeing LVNs within the department(s).
* Supports Clinical Supervisors and/or Registered Nurses in LVN physical assessment review and documentation upon admission, point of care (POC) tasks, monitoring patient status changes, and facilitating discharge processes as required.
* Communicates effectively with staff, physicians, and administration through written and verbal means.
* Reports unit status to the House Supervisor.
* Undertakes delegated tasks within the scope of practice as directed by the House Supervisor and Director/Manager.
* Provides direct patient care when necessary within the scope of practice.
* Serves as a subject matter expert for nursing staff as needed.
*Requirements:*
* Current and valid state *RN License *of CA
* Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from AHA
* ACLS Certification from AHA
* Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN)
* current *ER, ICU and Telemetry experience* is required
