The Contract Part-Time IT Support Admin.
(Field Technician) is responsible for providing technical support for all end-users of the practice’s computer systems and related technologies.
Additional tasks include user account management, PC maintenance & upgrades, server administration, communication with vendors, inventory upkeep, and assisting in all IT initiatives as directed or needed.

Responsibilities:

Reliable performer who presents a highly professional image and demonstrates superior troubleshooting and organizational skills.
Proficient in working with operating systems, network communications and possesses and understanding or telecommunications equipment.
Proactive (takes initiative) and able to prioritize tasks as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and customer service oriented with a focus on quality.
Able to quickly learn new software and hardware platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
IT Support
Assists IT Manager in coordinating software, hardware and systems application implementations.
Performs PC, printer, scanner, telephone and desktop software support, including medical diagnostic equipment and other systems.
Installs and configures new equipment (telecom, computers, and other technology)
Troubleshoot problems related to desktop operating systems, desktop applications, PC hardware, server and various operating systems, and other network attached peripherals.
Maintain inventory of computers, medical equipment, peripherals, and all network devices.
Perform all other tasks assigned
Communication
Trains new employees on desktop operating systems, practice network environment and other related information systems functions.
Works with IT Manager on a regular basis to plan technology upgrades and IT initiatives for the practice.
Perform other related duties to ensure effective communication and smooth functioning of all information systems and general operations/activities within the practice.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
Minimum 2 years training and experience in computer hardware and software-related areas with an emphasis on workstations, networking, problem analysis and diagnostic techniques.
Microsoft Certified Professional Preferred.
