Responsibilities The incumbent is accountable for coordinating the overall operation of the departments to ensure that the optimal schedules, staffing levels and payroll outcomes are in effect and are based upon census, acuity and budget.
Incumbent is also responsible for ensuring sound financial oversight of operations.
The incumbent incorporates differences into the provision of care and integrates knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families with an awareness of cost containment and time management.
In addition the incumbent trains, evaluates and supervises staff in carrying out policies and procedures.
The incumbent reports to the Sr Director Patient Care Services.
Qualifications Education and Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience required Bachelors degree or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience in lieu of the degree.
Licensure: Current California nursing license and BLS required Pay Range $55.
