Dental Sterilization Technician

_ _Basic Functions of the position:_ - Assist in sterilizing dental instruments and equipment - Prepare treatment rooms for patient care - Clean and disinfect treatment areas after each patient - Maintain inventory of sterilization supplies - Follow infection control protocols and guidelines - Assist dental professionals during procedures as needed Skills: - Proficient in taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately - Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures - Familiarity with dental anatomy and terminology - Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation using Dentrix or similar software - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus - Understanding of medical coding and billing processes - Strong patient assessment skills This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills.
