*Position: General Manager Funeral Director*
*Location: Redding, CA*
*Job Overview:*
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced professional Funeral Director to join our team and manage combo and stand alone locations.
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team to assist families in planning and arranging funeral services, providing support, and ensuring that all aspects of the funeral process run smoothly.

*Duties:*
* Oversee all aspects of the funeral home’s operations, including staff management, budgeting, and facilities maintenance.
* Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing funeral service operations.
* Provide exceptional customer service to families, guiding them through the funeral planning process with empathy and professionalism.
* Coordinate and oversee funeral arrangements, including visitations, services, and burials or cremations.
* Handle administrative tasks such as record-keeping, invoicing, and documentation.
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance the funeral home’s reputation and market presence.
* Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement.
*Skills:*
* Licensed funeral director in the state of California, or ability to reciprocate.
(5+ years of licensed experience)
* Previous experience in funeral home management or a related field strongly preferred.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others during difficult times.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
