Kune kune means "fat and round".
These pigs are known for their playful personalities, docile dispositions, adorable looks.
Kune Kune pigs are grass eaters that do not root up your yard like most other pig species.
All pigs will create soil disturbances though.
They are great for homesteaders, hobby farmers, pet parents, and breeders.
They are a lard pig that offer a dark red, tasty pork meat.
The majority of pigs will reach finished size around 12 – 15 months old.
However, this can be sooner or later depending on the individual pigs.
Smaller pigs are more practical to butcher at home and can be butchered at 30-50 lbs (3-5 months - aka Suckling Pig).
Fits easily in a dog crate.
