These speakers have the purist sound of any speaker out there.
I'm moving and can't take them with me unfortunately.
These are $2100 speakers.
$1500 would be a good price on them.
I have placed them for sale at $900 which is probably the lowest you would find the 2+2's anywhere.
Usually Acoustats priced this low are in much worse condition (kept outdoors in a garage, rusty MagneKinetic interface, etc.
I priced it at $900 because these speakers could use new cloth covers which is only cosmetic but other than that they are in excellent shape and have excellent sound.
It is priced so that there is plenty of room to purchase new covers for them or purchase material to make new covers for looks.
I purchased new covers when I purchased the speakers new just to have spares.
We got kittens for awhil and they snagged the speaker cloth unfortunately.
When we got rid of the kittens, I recovered one of the speakers and was going to recover the other.
But, a stray made it in the house and slightly snagged the new cloth cover.
It isn't too bad, just a few snags on the side.
However, I decided not to use the other cover right away.
If you decide to purchase the speakers and like the color of the covers, I can recover the other one for you with the new cover.
A sweater depiller/deballer (such as the $15 Conair fabric razor at Target) would take care of the few material balls on the other speaker cloth.
If however you choose to recover them with a different material, then Joanne Fabrics carries double knit polyester ribbing that comes in a tube at the perfect size for these speakers and can be purchased in any length to be pulled over them.
They also carry Spandex which is an excellent speaker cloth material.
Check reviews at various websites to get an idea of how great these speakers sound.
I have listed a couple of websites below to get you started.

stereophile.
com/content/acoustat-22-loudspeaker https://www.
audioreview.
com/product/speakers/floorstanding-speakers/acoustat/2-2-medalion-transformers.
html They are truly invisible sounding.
The speakers fit under an 8' ceiling (2" shorter).
They are 24" wide.
The base is 12" deep but the speaker is only 4" deep.
Normally you wouldn't put the speakers close together like I did for one of the photos but rather separated near each side of the room such as shown in the individual speaker photos.
Thank you for looking and helping me move by purchasing some of my stuff.
I can help load these into your vehicle.
