Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Route Driver to join our team for Tuesdays and Thursdays through October.
As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations (within a couple hundred miles) .
This position requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
You will be responsible for transportation to/from the warehouse, but company van will be used for the deliveries.
Duties: - Safely operate delivery vehicle/van - Load and unload goods from vehicle - Plan and follow designated routes and schedules - Communicate with customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries - Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations - Assist with warehouse duties as needed Requirements: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier preferred (but not required) - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required - Familiarity with local roads and routes - Strong attention to detail and time management skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
