Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team.
As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various destinations using different types of trucks and heavy equipment.
Primarily driving truck and transfer.
This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, flat bed, bobtail, and water trucks
- Load and unload goods using forklifts or other equipment as necessary
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Plan routes and ensure on-time delivery of goods
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
- Proven experience driving various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, flat bed, bobtail, and water trucks
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is a plus
- Knowledge of route driving and efficient navigation
- Ability to handle freight safely and securely
