Goodman Transportation is accepting applications for part-time Package Delivery Drivers.
This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs.
and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
A DOT physical exam is required.
Package Delivery Drivers must have excellent customer contact and driving skills.
Qualified applicants must have a valid driver’s license issued in the state that they live.
Package Delivery Drivers are expected to comply with FedEx appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.
Full-time employees work eight or more hours per day and workdays can vary depending on the needs of Goodman Transportation.
Your Responsibilities:
* Successfully handle and deliver packages to customers on time
* Work with support team to provide exceptional customer service and delight customers
* Comply with company procedures, DOT policies, attendance requirements, and safety standards in transporting customer orders
* Operate company vehicle to local customer locations as scheduled in timely, efficient manner
* Ability to safely climb in and out of vehicle, navigate stairs, problem solve, & deliver packages in all weather conditions
* Lift packages up of 150 lbs during a 6-10 hour work shift
* Handle challenging workload and driving demands as part of core team
* Ability to function calmly and efficiently in high-pressure, multi-tasking environment
* Operate scanner to record shipping and package information
Your Qualifications:
* 21 years of age or older & authorized to work in the U.
S.
with valid driver’s license
* Able to speak and read English
* Must be flexible with work schedules due to business needs
* Must have knowledge of state driving laws (training will be provided)
* Must successfully pass criminal background, driving records check, and drug screening
* Must have a personal vehicle.

delivers packages 7 days a week
* Typical work schedule is 8 hours per day.
Longer hours may be required as necessary.
