Food and Berverage/Cashiers - Positions include cooks, food preparation, servers, and cashiers.
Serving guest appetizing food efficiently is a must for all food staff.
These positions have a high degree of customer interaction.
Food and beverage staff will be serving food they have prepared as well as working on cash registers.
They must maintain a friendly attitude while working quickly and efficiently.
Position Prerequisites:
MUST be at least 16 years of age.
Previous cash handling, or food and beverage handling experience.
Good personal hygiene, appearance.
Knowledge of proper food and beverage operations and etiquette.
Ability to work with cash.
Ability to work with guests in all areas, with a positive approach.
Ability to concentrate on detail and follow-up work while maintaining a high standard of guest satisfaction.

Purpose:
To maintain quality service, attitude, food presentation in a timely manner to meet guest needs.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen area, service ware and supporting role to kitchen wait staff.
Properly operates machinery being utilized.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time.
Material handling: stooping, bending, lifting an average of 30 pounds will be part of some job requirements.
Major Duties:
Complete orders by selecting food items from serving or storage areas and serving beverages.
Maintain serving area by keeping order; removing spills and food droppings; filing receipts.
Comply with food handling, sanitation, and storage regulations
Provide superior guest service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner

It is each employee’s responsibility to maintain a working knowledge of services available.

Continual restocking of merchandise is required with instruction from management and supervisors.
Maintain highest quality and appearance of all food by communicating any questions or procedure problems to the kitchen supervisor.
All stored prepared foods must be in appropriate container, properly covered and correctly labeled and dated.
Cleaning of service-ware and cooking utensils.
Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
Sweeps and mops floors.
Scrape, wash rinse and sanitize all pots and pans; store properly.
Clean heavy equipment, floor, walls, sinks, drains and pipes in prep and service kitchens.
Notify supervisor of problems with temperature gauges, hot boxes or any other equipment.
Line empty garbage cans with plastic bags.
Ensure adequate supply of hand soap and paper towels in dispensers at hand sinks.
Use proper chemicals for different cleaning jobs.
Other duties as assigned.
