Our future management team will work together to manage the day to day operations of a storage facility and provide a personal experience and excellent customer service to customers.
Customer service is our #1 priority.
This facility management team consists of two people and they could be spouses, friends, relatives, etc… The important thing is that they need to be able to serve our customers well, work together well, and share a home (the housing is a significant part of the compensation for this work).
Our hired team will need to have computer skills, exceptional telephone and people skills, cash handling, filing and facility maintenance skills.
Both team members will need to have a current/valid driver’s license to make deposits to bank, pick up local supplies, and make runs to post office.
Work Days: Tuesday - Saturday
Work Hours: 30 hours/week for each team member, primarily between 9 am - 5 pm
Pay Range: $19-$21/hour
Compensation:
• The compensation plan includes housing and funds (direct deposits).
The team will receive a combined compensation of approximately $2,400 in gross pay in addition to housing.
• Housing: 3 bed, 2 bath - w/ power, water, sewer, garbage, natural gas, basic cable and internet provided.
House also has a large backyard and ample parking.
(recently remodeled with new kitchen, windows, flooring, paint, etc…)

This job will provide two part-time positions, for a total of 60 hours/week (preferably 30 hours each).
An assistant manager is provided to cover for managers on their scheduled days off or vacation/sick time.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
• Taking reservation- both by phone and online
• Preparing rental contracts
• Entering information into computer system
• Processing move-outs
• Processing payments: cash/checks/money orders/credit cards/ ACH
• Enforcing rules/policies
• Filing paperwork
• Making bank deposits
• General facility maintenance: includes units/doors/office
• Groundskeeping: includes weeding, blowing, mowing, pruning, spraying for weed control, general outdoor cleaning
• Prepare legal notices with accordance to California laws
• Hold facility auctions as needed
Requirements:
• Valid driver's license (no DUI, reckless driving, etc.
.
)
• Have a reliable vehicle with adequate insurance
• Computer skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (1 or both team members)
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend/kneel
• Ability to operate power equipment (1 or both team members)
