I am looking for a legitimate multifunction office/warehouse space to rent for my son that's legal to operate a massage business out of.
I am looking for no earlier than April 2024.
I also want to use the space to run my continuing education classes for massage therapy, hold yoga classes and sound healings.
I am board certified in massage therapy, business licensed, and insured.
I am also starting a graduate degree this fall and may want to use the space for studying, meaning I would need space to have a desk, and possibly a couch.
My son is 17 years old, completely dedicated to drumming (full kit), and practices at a few hours a day.
He'll be 18 in January of 2025.
He's homeschooled, and not super social, but he would be there while practicing unattended.
I do keep a tight leash on him, meaning I set tight parameters.
We are a completely drug and alcohol free family, and are NOT looking for an environment near anyone who partakes.
So, not next to a bar where people who partake in that lifestyle are coming and going.
I want to spend no more than $800 a month.
I am not sure a place like this exists, but right now I am looking for leads.
Again, no earlier than April.
Right now I am just trying to find out if it's even possible.
If it's a situation with a landlord breathing down my neck, it won't work.
I need a place that allows noise (obviously not past 9 pm and not until 9 am) without my concern of upsetting any neighbors.
Again, this wouldn't be all hours of the day, constant drumming, but at least 2-3 hours a day, maybe slightly more if he's giving a lesson.
Anywhere in Redding will do, possibly even Anderson, and Shasta Lake (town).
