Looking for small breed (Redding)

I'm looking for a smaller breed for an emotion support animal.
No specific breed but I tend to lean more toward longer fur.
No sex preference.
Must be able to get along with other animals and young children.
I don't have a ton of money for a rehoming fee, but can pay around 200.
