Our family is fostering a very sweet 2-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer.
We are seeking the right home and the right human to love him forever.
This is Buck.
He is a very sweet good boy, that loves to have a job to do.
Buck is well-trained and loves to please.
He is very smart and listens and responds to Sit, stay, lay down, come, lets go, release, calm, play, etc!
Buck came to us through a family member who was facing unfortunate life circumstances and could not keep him, so we lovingly opened our arms to foster him and find him a better home.
We have our hands full with other animals and a baby on the way and need to responsibly rehome him with the right people.
Buck is crate-trained and sleeps in his good-boy bed in the crate every night.
He has been raised around other dogs and is socialized.
He is neutered and up to date with shots.
This is the perfect dog for an active person or family who wants to adopt and not have to go through the puppy phase.
Buck is already trained and a very loyal companion who wants to please you.
He would make a fantastic hunting companion.
Here are some highlights about Buck:
He LOVES to play ball and fetch games, take long walks, and visit the dog park!
He is super speedy quick and smart and thrives when given a job to do.
He is adaptable and we have been training him to be part outdoor and indoor dog.
(He sleeps inside in his crate)
He is a big snuggle bug and loves to be close and cuddle.
He is trained into having calm indoor hours with our other dog and is very well-socialized.
We trained Buck with a boundary collar so he would have some freedom to roam on our property.
He responds very well to his boundary.
If you want to use it for escape prevention or if you are on a large property we highly recommend - it just makes everyone's life less stressful.
GSP breed is very athletic and does best with at least 2 hours of vigorous exercise a day.
Please do your own research on the breed before inquiring.
