We’re hiring immediately and we will train you! Vitalant is currently seeking entry-level phlebotomists to help our dedicated team provide blood to local hospitals and patients.
Whether you are just starting your career, or if you’re new to the blood banking industry, we’re here to train, mentor, and help you grow.
Our ideal candidate is looking for variable shift options and is excited to travel within a 250 region to deliver comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences to our volunteer donors.
As a mobile phlebotomist, most days you’ll conduct a blood drive around town in one of our recognizable buses; other days you’ll be at a donation center greeting many of our regular donors by name.

This position will need a CMV license within 6 months

We’re looking for someone who can:
Greet blood donors and make them comfortable with the procedure, answering questions about the process as needed
Perform blood draws (PAID TRAINING PROVIDED)
Set up and break down equipment for mobile blood drives
Drive the company vehicle as needed and can obtain their CMV license within 6 months
Work as part of a team to achieve daily production goals
Maintain accurate records
High School Diploma or GED
Great customer service and interpersonal skills
Active driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to travel as required
Able to lift 40lbs
CMV license within 6 months to be eligible to drive Box Trucks
