We are in search of skilled Drivers that have the ability to function well as part of a team.
You must have very effective organizational and communication skills to service our clientele efficiently.
The primary responsibility of the Driver is to help meet the equipment needs of customers by delivering and picking up equipment in a timely, safe and courteous manner as well as operate a variety of construction rental equipment.
The Driver is permitted to operate heavy equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers (“low boys”).
We seek highly motivated and experienced Drivers with a background in construction and industrial equipment.
Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, gas and diesel machinery is preferred.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining customer relations through exceptional customer service
Delivering and picking up equipment from customer job sites in a safe and timely manner
Instructing customers on the safe and proper operation of the equipment
Abiding by DOT regulations
Acceptable Class A - CDL and a current medical card; be knowledgeable in and have an understanding of DOT regulations; be familiar with the layout of the area; possess good communication skills and have an eye for detail.
A good driving record is a must.
Experience with chains, binders, straps, and heavy equipment a plus.
Physical exertion required.
Including, but not limited to, walking, standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Frequent exposure to the elements.
