*Executive Assistant*
· Full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position, reporting to the President & CEO

UWNC aims to expand operations fully throughout the region.
Services include but are not limited to, the 211 human services helpline; crisis and disaster relief and recovery; financial stability programs; activities that address homelessness; and public health education and information.
*Job Summary* The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the President & CEO.
The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication; administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
The Executive Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
*Roles and Responsibilities* * Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the President & CEO and others in leadership; including coordinating an active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
* Plans, coordinates, and ensures the CEO's schedule is followed and respected.
* Communicates directly, and on behalf of the CEO, with stakeholders on matters · related to the CEO's programmatic initiatives.
* Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO’s office and internal departments; maintains credibility, trust, and support with others on the management team.
* Works closely and effectively with the CEO to keep him/her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
Acts as a "barometer," having a sense of the issues taking place in the work environment, and keeping the CEO updated.
* As needed, assists the Human Resources Manager with personnel administrative tasks which may include job postings, scheduling of job interviews, onboarding and exiting procedures, processing of personnel action reports, and maintenance of the organization’s human resources database and online platforms.
* As needed, manages a variety of special projects for the President.
* Serves as a key contact for the agency’s Board of Directors.
Maintains discretion and confidentiality in relationships with all Board members.
* Schedules meetings and prepares and distributes key Board communications including agendas and background materials in a timely fashion.
* As needed, assists with the building operations in the Redding office.
including procurement of supplies, building upkeep, and maintenance.
* Other duties as assigned.

*Education and Experience Requirements* * Minimum Associate’s Degree; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
* Minimum two years of experience providing administrative support for senior management.
* ·Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms.
* Ability to adapt to and quickly learn new technology platforms.
* Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
* Can work comfortably on a keyboard through an eight-hour shift.
* Non-profit experience is a plus.
* Multilingual/bilingual a plus.
* In possession of a valid driver’s license, and reliable, insured transportation.
