POSTION SUMMARY Provide leadership and management in the planning, optimization, expansion, and execution of commercial supply chain activities for Mirum’s global markets.
The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership ability, end-to-end commercial supply chain expertise, be able to work independently and enjoy working in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment during a period of significant growth and global expansion.
JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for processing high volume of A/P transactions: invoice entry, account coding and proper period of entry to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to processing and payment.
Adherence to the company’s signature authority policy for invoice approval.
Process accounts payable by matching invoices with appropriate purchase orders.
Review vendor contracts and apply judgement on expense account, department, and project coding of processing non-PO invoices.
Ensure accounts payable is in good standing.
Researching, resolving, and responding to vendor account, invoice, and payment discrepancy inquiries in a timely manner.
Manage Concur expense reporting system including oversight of expense report processing, audits, and system administration.
Review employee expense reports thoroughly to make sure it complies with company policy.
Perform expense report payment processing on a weekly basis.
Provide excellent customer service to internal organization and external vendors.
Support the quarterly reviews and annual audit, including providing requested information and preparation of audit schedules.
System maintenance for tax reporting compliance and year-end processing of 1099’s.
Support financial systems implementations and participate in process improvements.
Assist on special projects and ad-hoc assignments as needed.
Adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as the business expands.
QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: Accounting or Finance degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience.
Prior work experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Experience with Bill.
com and Concur Expense reporting is required, with NetSuite ERP system is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be adaptable, a team player and an excellent communicator (both verbal and written).
Must have the ability to work independently to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
Demonstrate the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and seek supervisory guidance when appropriate.
Must possess a high level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Requires an extremely high degree of accuracy with priority on quality deliverables.
Positive attitude and collaborative approach to working on projects.
Requires strong analytical skills and self-driven initiative.
Motivated team player able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
