Staff Accountant/CPA Candidate
We are hiring for a Staff Accountant position.
This position is a full-time position, performing assurance and tax projects.
The ideal candidate should be a CPA candidate.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree, with enough credits qualifying the candidate to sit for the CPA exam, preferably with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or a related field
Experience in public accounting is preferred, but not required
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), knowledge in QuickBooks and UltraTax a plus
Excellent organizational skills and proven experience performing projects and meeting reporting deadlines
Effective professional communication skills, both verbal and written
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary and non-profit tax returns
Provide accounting and bookkeeping services to clients including such things as determining required adjusting journal entries and calculating depreciation
Perform compilation, review, and audit services for the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
