Accounts Payable Specialist

*Bookkeeper * Heavy Construction Engineering Company seeking an accounts payable specialist.
*Job Duties Overview:* * Follow Company System Procedures to sort invoices, obtain management coding and approval and enter in the accounting software * Code credit card statements and maintain credit card records * Prepare and process check runs * Monthly bank account reconciliation * Track preliminary notices and certificates of insurance * Manage vendor inquiries and statements * Maintain equipment insurance spreadsheet * Process W9’s and 1099's * Cross train with payroll * Assist other departments as needed * Assist with telephones * Special assignments as assigned *Job Qualifications:* Degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 2 years accounting experience Minimum of 1 year payroll experience Ability to handle multiple interruptions and adjust priorities regularly Excellent communication skills verbal and written Proficient in Excel Individual must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and have strong organizational skills and get along well with other team members.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $23.
