- Prepare and complete accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Review financial records, such as income statements and balance sheets, to determine tax liability
- Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Utilize accounting software, such as QuickBooks, to input and organize financial data
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and answer tax-related questions
- Calculate deductions, credits, and exemptions to minimize tax liability
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice to clients
```Experience```
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation or related field
- Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to analyze financial concepts
- Familiarity with various tax forms and schedules (e.
g.
, 1040, Schedule C)
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks
- Knowledge of public accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing tax returns
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
