00 dollars an hour *Responsibilities:* As a Certified Public Accountant at NAMHS, you will be responsible for: Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations; prepare and review tax returns.
Audit Support: Coordinate and assist in external audits; respond to auditor inquiries.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the development of budgets and forecasts, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
General Accounting: Perform various accounting functions, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
Advisory Services: Provide financial guidance and support to management on strategic initiatives and financial decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights to support business goals.
*Qualifications:* Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA certification required.
Experience: 2 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.
g.
, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
