78/hourly *CLASSIFICATION: *Non-exempt *SUPERVISES: *None *JOB SUMMARY: *This team member is responsible for managing and maintain the accounts payable functions for multiple entities, to include but not limited to processing vendor invoices and credit memos, verifying accuracy, ensuring timely payments, reconciling vendor statements, resolving payment discrepancies and maintaining vendor records.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * The essential duties and responsibilities outlined here are representative of those that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, however, are not all inclusive: 1.
Team member will review all invoices for purchase authorization and correct coding; ensuring accuracy between vendor payments and vendor information is correct 2.
Maintains accounts payable schedules to avoid missing payments; Researches vendor statements to ensure all accounts are current and up-to-date 3.
Processes authorized invoices and check requests into the accounting software with accuracy and attention to detail 4.
Works with management staff within entities to collect missing invoices and request corrections to any accounts payables such as credits memos 5.
Submits accounts payable batches for review and processing by the assigned deadline each week; ensuring all departmental procedures are followed to provide a consistent flow of work throughout the department 6.
Responsible for accurate and knowledgeable use of Microsoft productivity software such as Excel and Word to update financial back-up as required 7.
Responsible for monthly billing for all entities 8.
Clear all paid receivables as well as follows up with inter departments for payment 9.
Submits accounts receivables batches for review and processing by the assigned deadline each week; ensuring all departmental procedures are followed to provide a consistent flow of work throughout the department 10.
Assist Lead Staff Accountant with year-end tax filing 11.
Assist Lead Staff Accountant and Controller with month end close and annual audit as needed 12.
Monitors, responds, and takes action on communication emails for assigned entities 13.
Maintains filing system for all vendors including W-9 documents, liability insurance and contracts 14.
Manages confidential information in a secure, discreet and professional manner 15.
Performs all duties in a manner that continually supports the vision, mission, values, and principles of the Redding Rancheria Economic Development Corporation 16.
Performs all duties in a manner that adheres to the guest service standards established by RREDCO’s management 17.
